The 3351 series of intelligent capacitive pressure and differential pressure transmitters are microprocessor-based pressure measurement instruments that superimpose communication and other functions on the 4-20 mA signal of conventional capacitive transmitters. The technology performs temperature characteristics and nonlinear compensation to improve the measurement accuracy of the meter, improve its temperature characteristics, and extend the turndown ratio. Use the 268, 275 Communication Communicator or other communication host using the HART protocol to communicate bi-directionally (read, write, and diagnose) with the control room, transmitter, or any location connected to the control loop.
