SITRANS TF is used where other transmitters are not competent. The main point is its IP67 protection.
SITRANS TF is made of sturdy aluminum die-cast or durable stainless steel. It converts the resistance thermometer, thermocouple,Ohm and mV signals into a DC current that is unrelated to the load , or a digital signal that is based on the fieldbus standardPROFIBUS PA or FF . The remotely mounted sensor prevents the transmitter from being heated to high temperatures; there is no shock due to the split installation with the sensor. For locations that are difficult to access, you can remotely install the SITRANS TFin an accessible location and read measurements from a freely programmable digital display. For all 4-20 mA signals, you can even use the transmitterless SITRANS TF as a field display unit. All SITRANS TFs are intrinsically safe or flameproof.
